ReturnMySon.com was created to shed light on a heartbreaking reality: I have been unjustly separated from my son, Ibrahim Griggs, for over a year. Despite being a devoted and capable father, I have faced a legal system that has overlooked the truth, ignored the voices of my children, and denied us the chance to be together as a family.

On February 7, 2024, my eldest son, Derrick Jr., courageously walked away from his mother’s home and came back to live with me. His decision confirmed what we’ve known all along — that our home is a place of love, safety, and stability. Still, Ibrahim remains apart from his father and brother, caught in a process that continues to delay justice and healing.

This website is not just about one father’s pain. It’s a call to action. A demand for accountability. And a place to share our truth — openly and honestly. I will not stop fighting for my son, and I will not allow silence or misinformation to define our story.
